About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dutch language teacher to join our team at International House London. As a Dutch language instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality language lessons to adult learners in a face-to-face setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Dutch language lessons to adult learners.
  • Create effective lesson materials and activities to promote student progress.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses and maintain consistent teaching standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and be currently based in the UK.
  • Dutch language proficiency at C2 level.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Initial teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience to adults.
  • Clear Police Record and Enhanced DBS.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Possess a CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or DELTA qualification.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Hold a degree in Dutch Language and Literature or a degree in Modern Languages.
