Extrusion Setter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Setter to join our team at a leading global packaging manufacturer. As an Extrusion Setter, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring one of our main extruder machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting and operating the extruder machine to produce high-quality sheet rolls
  • Completing quality checks on the machines and materials to ensure maximum output and minimal downtime
  • Performing basic maintenance checks, including roller and die cleaning, to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Quality sampling of finished sheet rolls to ensure gauge, clarity, and slip reports meet industry standards
Requirements:
  • Experience working with extrusion machinery or transferable skills from a machine minder position
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow plans and complete quality checks
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime when needed
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
