Job Title: Registered Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead and manage our BRAND-NEW Residential Care Service for Children in the West Midlands. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home meets the highest standards of care, complies with all regulatory requirements, and provides a nurturing, stable, and safe environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Management:
  • Provide strong, inspirational leadership to the care team, ensuring a supportive environment that promotes the best outcomes for children.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of staff, fostering a stable and committed workforce.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive culture and ethos within the home.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure full compliance with The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the home meets regulatory standards.
Child Well-being:
  • Ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of children is prioritized at all times.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the health and well-being of children.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Registered Manager, you will need:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience of working in a children's home or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and external agencies.
