Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to breakdowns and perform planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Shift Leader to coordinate engineering project support and maintenance of assembly/process machinery, as well as general site facilities such as heating and lighting.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to all health, safety, and environmental requirements, including risk assessments and accident investigations.
  • Provide technical support for root cause analysis on major breakdowns and contribute to the development of maintenance strategies to prevent future issues.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrate experience in preventative maintenance activities and a strong understanding of machine maintenance and operation, as well as computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Be familiar with modern problem-solving techniques and lean manufacturing systems.
