About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled actuary to join our Group Protection Pricing team at Aviva. As a Group Protection Pricing Actuary, you will play a key role in managing the financial performance of our Group Protection business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake and manage actuarial analysis to advise and support business decisions, ensuring they meet all risk and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver the Group Protection strategy through costing, pricing, and underwriting philosophy.
  • Support system development and operational teams, and contribute to the development of costing and risk management.
Requirements
  • Newly qualified or nearly qualified actuary with a strong technical and commercial background.
  • Proven experience in Group Protection, preferably in a Pricing role.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and modeling skills.
  • Proactive and able to take ownership and accountability for work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and through report writing and presenting.
What We Offer
  • A competitive starting salary between £45,000 and £60,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • A bonus opportunity of up to 10% of annual salary, based on performance and company results.
