Maths Teacher Opportunity at Longfield Academy

We are seeking a talented and inspiring Maths teacher to join our successful department from September 2024. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to academic excellence, and able to motivate, support, and enthuse students.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term, part-time position with a minimum of 3 days per week. The successful candidate will join an established department with a friendly and dedicated team who achieve excellent results.

Our Department

Our Maths department is known for its innovative approach to teaching and learning. We use the Maths Mastery method at Key Stage 3, alongside the IB MYP, to develop a deep and broad mathematical understanding in our students. Our curriculum is underpinned by research on task design, variation theory, concept development, and raising achievement.
