Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment is seeking a Merchandising Specialist for a growing fashion retail brand. This role encompasses overseeing key retail locations and concessions. Reporting directly to the retail head, you will provide support to all stores in your designated area through visual merchandising training and the implementation of seasonal strategies aligned with global standards.
We are in search of candidates with a background in fashion management or substantial visual merchandising expertise. In this position, you will manage multiple concessions across your area, and it is essential that the ideal candidate resides within this region. Building strong relationships with stakeholders is crucial, as you will be tasked with developing and executing strategies that enhance sales performance and improve key performance indicators across all retail outlets.
Experience in apparel or fashion is a prerequisite for this role; the brand seeks an individual who can demonstrate a strategic approach and provide concrete examples of fostering a culture that encourages growth and inspires others.
You will be expected to take ownership of your decisions and the impact they have on the business. This role is particularly suited for an experienced retail manager or merchandising professional who is passionate about inventory management, driving KPIs, and achieving results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist stores and team members in driving continuous improvement across all operational areas.
- Identify and manage financial risks while ensuring cost and sales targets are met within the region.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain product availability.
- Recognize when stores require additional in-store support, planning and adjusting priorities to provide enhanced assistance as needed.
- Possess strong visual skills with experience in inventory management and a keen eye for detail.
- Influence upper management to ensure that central planning remains customer-focused, ensuring decisions positively affect the entire retail network.
- Engage with Store Management teams to share best practices, encouraging proactive thinking and long-term planning for success.
- Exhibit the courage to make difficult decisions when necessary for the greater good.
- Consistently enhance the performance benchmarks of the region.
Note: Due to the extensive travel involved, a valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory.
This position is ideal for a senior retail manager or merchandising specialist with experience in fashion management, capable of creating compelling visual displays and making critical decisions. A genuine interest in current trends and fashion is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer engagement.
