We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to oversee the smooth running of our kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of chefs, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of chefs to achieve high-quality dishes and maintain a clean kitchen
- Source and procure fresh, seasonal produce to create an exciting menu concept
- Collaborate with our restaurateur to develop and implement new menu ideas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Monitor and control kitchen costs to achieve budget targets
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards
