Cookery Class Tutors are responsible for the planning and delivery of commercial Cookery Classes for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Delivering courses that inspire and educate participants in the art of cooking, from mastering basic techniques to exploring diverse cuisines from around the world.

Share your passion for cooking and culinary expertise with children, young people and adults, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the kitchen.

**What you’ll be doing**

Deliver a high quality, balanced, lively and imaginative daily programme of play opportunities appropriate for the age of the children present and which has a wide variety of inclusive activities catering for all abilities and interests.
- Plan and deliver engaging and informative cookery classes for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
- Teach fundamental cooking techniques, culinary theories, and recipe execution to participants.
- Create lesson plans, recipes, and instructional materials that are tailored to the needs and interests of the students.
- Submitting ingredient order request in advance of each class
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to participants to support their learning and growth.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic cooking environment, adhering to food safety standards and best practices.
- Inspire and motivate participants to explore new ingredients, flavours, and cooking styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve course offerings and curriculum content.

**About You**

**Desirable Experience, Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven hospitality experience,
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special diets.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum

**Required Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively teach and demonstrate cooking skills to participants of all ages and backgrounds.
- Passion for food and a desire to inspire others to explore the world of cooking.
- Knowledge of food safety and cleanliness practices.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special diets.
- Availability to work pre-agreed evenings and weekends

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £25.00 per hour
