About the Role:

The Maintenance Shift Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of site equipment and infrastructure, excluding refrigeration, for the Saputo Dairy UK site. This will cover the maintenance of state-of-the-art cheesemaking equipment, planned preventative maintenance, and ensuring that site facilities and equipment function with optimal efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
