Job Opportunity for Female Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Female Support Worker to join our team and work with a young lady with learning disabilities based in the Holsworthy area of Devon.

The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities and be able to provide support with daily activities, personal care, and mobility needs. The client enjoys social activities such as bowling, visiting her boyfriend, and going out for meals, and the successful candidate will be able to support her in these areas.

The role involves working 16 hours per week over two days, with the possibility of increasing to 16 hours as rapport is built. The hourly rate is £12.50, and travel time is paid up to 1 hour.

Essential qualifications include an NVQ (or equivalent) in care, recent training, and a full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will also have great communication skills and be able to work with the client, her family, and other professionals involved in her care.

Please note that this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9 due to a genuine occupational requirement.
