Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Fruition IT. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a bespoke SaaS product using Node JS as the backend framework, spun up into an AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a high-performance connected platform using Terraform as the infrastructure as code.
  • Work closely with agile teams to meet software deliverables and support continuous integration to enhance deployment.
  • Develop backend software in Java for a high-load environment and perform code reviews.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful implementation of microservices and REST APIs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
  • Strong experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, and Typescript.
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MySQL.
  • Good cloud exposure, ideally in AWS, but Azure or GCP is also acceptable.
