In this pivotal role, you will serve as a crucial component of the risk management team, collaborating closely with the Senior Information Security Manager to oversee and validate the cybersecurity framework. You will act as the main liaison for external vendors, working diligently to foster a secure and resilient cybersecurity landscape. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, identifying, and escalating potential cybersecurity threats within the organization, ensuring that all concerns are addressed effectively.
Key qualifications for success
To excel in this position, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity operations within a large-scale organization.
- Proven ability to assess and monitor risk factors
- Adhere to established assurance protocols to evaluate and test the environments managed by vendors
- Identify and escalate issues discovered during assessments that may elevate risk levels
- Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders is essential; you will engage with both internal teams and external partners
- Oversee the performance metrics of vendors and the overall portfolio
- Provide support to the broader team as a subject matter expert
It is essential to hold current Security Clearance for this position.
