Role Overview

As a Flight Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and report any significant changes in flight details and passenger counts. You will serve as the key liaison between airlines and our internal teams. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and reporting any substantial changes in flight information and passenger numbers.
  • Acting as the primary contact between airlines and various internal departments.
  • Planning and coordinating efforts to ensure all departmental requirements are fulfilled within the DO & CO operational framework.
  • Preparing, printing, and distributing labels and information to all relevant departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and quantity control standards in accordance with production and menu specifications for all flights.
  • Verifying and validating food safety compliance.
  • Guaranteeing timely dispatch and delivery of food assembly and production lines.
  • Providing accurate and prompt information to the Transport team regarding any additional requirements.
  • Analyzing flight data to assist in adjusting stock requirements as necessary.
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills and collaborating effectively within a large team, while being proactive in delivering outstanding service to our partners.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and serving as a role model in adhering to all policies, including Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental, and Security protocols.
  • Delivering exceptionally high-class service to our customers, ensuring timely and accurate handovers.
  • Taking ownership of your responsibilities, supporting your team, and celebrating collective successes.

Required Qualifications

  • A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to interpret and present data clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a collaborative team spirit.
  • Flexibility in thinking, making efficient decisions, and adapting to changes to ensure optimal outcomes for our partners and the DO & CO family.
  • Energy and drive to exceed expectations, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • A comprehensive understanding of departmental performance, including financial aspects, and the ability to implement practical improvements through a hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility in work availability is essential, as our Production Kitchen operates seven days a week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
