We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Client Relations Specialist within our UK Specialty business.

Working within our Sport & Entertainment division, the role will focus on servicing existing clients as well as striving to acquire and win new business. We're therefore seeking a capable individual with prior commercial insurance experience.

Key areas of focus
  • Manage incoming inquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operate within agreed authority levels.
  • Evaluate the demands and needs of customers and advise on the most suitable insurances to meet their requirements.
  • Expand client base wherever possible.
  • Convert insurance needs into sales.
  • Cross-sell insurance whenever feasible.
  • Lead and process client new business, renewals, midterm adjustments, and lapses in accordance with current procedures and FCA requirements.
  • Input accurate data onto the back office systems.
  • Coordinate with Insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client's insurance needs.
  • Assess, assimilate, analyze, and present to insurers and underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous rate.
  • Prepare customer reports on both new and existing risks to support the commercial lines manager/supervisor.
  • Take ownership for actioning and updating Diary System as directed and within defined time scale.
You
  • Commercial insurance experience ideally in respect of schemes business.
  • Ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business/client relationships.
  • Understanding of broking and underwriting processes.
  • Highly organized, with good planning skills.
  • Able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets.
  • Completion of / progress towards CII.
