Job Opportunity: Consultant Obstetrician

NHS Scotland is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Consultant Obstetrician to join our team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

This is a fixed-term position of 12 months, covering maternity leave. The successful applicant will work full-time (40 hours per week, 10PA) and be part of an established team providing comprehensive obstetric services to the population of Glasgow.

We are looking for a colleague who will develop and support new initiatives in the department, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have full GMC Registration, a license to practise, and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert obstetric care to patients
  • Developing and implementing new initiatives to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with the established team of consultants to deliver comprehensive services
