About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at King, a leading game developer behind popular titles such as Candy Crush and Farm Heroes. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the highest quality of our games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks for mobile games and applications
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Applium
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to improve test workflows and automation capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies in the field of test automation
Requirements
  • Experience in end-to-end test automation for mobile games and applications
  • Programming skills in Java, with exposure to C++, Python, and database languages
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and pipeline
  • Experience in improving test workflows via automation, including integrations with GitHub and Slack
  • Collaboration skills with developers and cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and maintaining automation on cloud platforms such as GCP
  • Experience working with cloud testing services such as Perfecto or SauceLabs
  • Familiarity with build tools such as CMake and Gradle
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Graylog, and Grafana
  • Experience with one of the automation test tools: Cypress, JEST, or Puppeteer
