About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Electrical Tester to join our team at Wernick Group Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our portable cabins and modular buildings.

As an Electrical Tester, you'll be responsible for conducting electrical tests on our portable cabins and modular buildings, identifying any defects or issues, and performing repairs as necessary. You'll also be required to carry out PAT testing of appliances and rewire cabins before they're sent to customer sites.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in rewiring, electrical testing, and PAT testing, with a strong understanding of current Health & Safety legislation. You'll be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical testing on portable cabins and modular buildings
  • Perform site visits as necessary to carry out repairs
  • Carry out PAT testing of appliances
  • Rewire cabins before they're sent to customer sites
  • Assist in the general refurbishment of the cabins or modular buildings in the yard

Requirements:

  • Experience in rewiring, electrical testing, and PAT testing
  • Strong understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a demanding workload
  • Adherence to current Health & Safety legislation
