Senior Project Manager Job Description

Circet IRE & UK is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the Network Build on and off site, with a strong background in civils and cabling activities on telecom infrastructure build and maintenance contracts.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for leading all production and associated functions of the Network Build.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery: Drive and manage projects to deliver objectives, meet or exceed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, and ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory provisions.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction to project teams, including sub-contractors, and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Commercial Management: Manage the commercial aspects of contracts, ensure projects are delivered on time and budget, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance.
  • Programme Management: Develop and manage programmes of work, ensuring projects are issued, monitored, and delivered on time and budget.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the performance of the supply chain to ensure key contract objectives are delivered.
  • Resource Management: Ensure projects are resourced appropriately and that the team has the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key advocate for the contract with senior representatives from local authority organisations and Circet's client.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: National Recognition Scheme for the Construction Industry (NRSWA), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), IOSH/NEBOSH qualified (desirable)
  • Skills: Good communication, people management, and leadership skills
  • Experience: Extensive working knowledge and supervisory experience on the Openreach network
  • Software Skills: Experienced and proficient in use of Microsoft Office Products
  • Driving Licence: Full driving licence with no more than 6 points on your licence
