Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at South57 Partnership Ltd in Luton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition and running efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a team of technicians, administration staff, and cleaners to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for our fleet of approximately 80 vehicles, addressing any defects that arise.
- Conduct daily defect checks, reviewing reports from drivers and organizing necessary repairs.
- Order parts and check prices to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely repairs.
- Schedule and manage MOTs for the fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare for company audits, maintaining high standards of compliance.
- Schedule and oversee external work and brake tests as required.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of parts and tools.
- Coordinate staff training sessions to ensure they are up-to-date with necessary skills and certifications.
- Communicate daily with the operations team to keep them informed of vehicle off-road statuses or progress.
- Attend meetings with senior management as required, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with heavy vehicles.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
