On-Site Versatile Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Focus

Location: Horsham
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on-site with proficiency and assurance, including Medium Voltage/Low Voltage electrical isolations and operations. Provide suggestions for enhancements and prepare detailed technical reports as necessary. Ensure that service visits from specialized vendors are conducted effectively, with quality assessments performed and feedback communicated to the Integral Supervisor. This includes reviewing supplier Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) prior to visits and addressing any issues. Actively engage in and fulfill Health and Safety compliance tasks, such as reporting hazards and near misses, along with regular participation in scheduled Toolbox Talks. Collaborate with the supply chain for the procurement of Mechanical and Electrical components needed for remedial and corrective actions. Take responsibility for the site, including all plant rooms under Integral's management, ensuring they meet and are maintained to the required operational standards. Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all tasks are acknowledged and finalized within Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Required Qualifications & Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in Building Services. Completion of an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent. Experience in servicing Fan Coil Units (FCUs). City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent qualifications. 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to achieve 18th Edition through further training if currently holding 17th Edition). Understanding and/or proficiency in Simmtronic lighting control systems. Skills in emergency lighting testing, fault reporting, and troubleshooting. Experience with elogbooks CAFM systems or similar platforms. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel. Proactive approach to achieving the highest operational standards. Excellent IT skills, including proficient use of email for communication with colleagues and clients as required. Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure, clarity, and the capacity to deliver required services within specified timeframes.
