Our client is currently undergoing significant growth, having secured a long-term partnership. Boreham Motorworks, part of the DRVN Group, is authorized by Ford to manufacture modernized Mk1 Escorts and RS200s, expanding their product offerings. DRVN's primary mission focuses on producing high-quality bespoke vehicles. Our state-of-the-art production facility in Newton Aycliffe spans 40,000 square feet and features specialized workshop bays for assembly, engine work, manufacturing, painting, and bodywork. As we advance, our production capacity is set to expand rapidly throughout the upcoming year, reflecting our steadfast commitment to growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Spray paint high-end vehicles to exceptional standards
- Prepare vehicle bodywork, including masking and polishing
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and utilize personal protective equipment
- Prepare and maintain paint spraying equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment
- Store paints under appropriate conditions
- Manage inventory of paints and tools
- Learn and apply Liquid Paint Protection Films in both clear and color formats
- Mask relevant panels prior to painting.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a confident and highly skilled Automotive Spray Painter
- Proficient in preparation, masking, and polishing
- Comfortable working on high-value vehicles
- Ability to achieve high-quality paint finishes
- Strong understanding of color matching and various coating characteristics
- Well-organized with excellent time management skills
- Must possess a full clean UK driver's license and be willing to work additional hours to meet deadlines
- Must have full rights to work in the UK; sponsorship or work permits are not available.
