Job Title: Special Educational Needs Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team at Recruited UK. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting the progress and achievement of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage learner support to ensure that the special educational needs of students are identified and assessed.
  • Monitor planned support to ensure that individual learning needs are met, and barriers to learning are overcome.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education that meets their needs.
Requirements:
  • DfES qualified teacher status
  • Degree-level qualification
  • Possession of or working towards the NASENCo or equivalent qualification
  • Proven successful teaching experience
  • Experience of supporting students in an education setting to overcome barriers to learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
