About the Role:

NRL is seeking a highly skilled Marine Senior Civil or Structural Design Engineer to join our team in London. As a key member of our multidisciplinary project design team, you will be responsible for delivering marine structural designs for challenging industrial projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop marine structural designs for shipyards, dry docks, and shiplifts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions for various port facilities.
  3. Provide input into projects at the pre-FEED and optioneering stages, and produce detailed designs for construction.
  4. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet client requirements.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or higher.
  2. Relevant experience in a consulting-based industry, preferably in marine engineering.
  3. Chartered Status with ICE or IStructE is highly desirable.
  4. Excellent numerical, reporting, and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external teams.
