Job Title: Senior Electrical Technician - Fabrication and Welding Expert

This role requires the candidate to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician (Fabrication, Welding & NDT) for the Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) in Abqaiq within the Planning and Technical Services Division.

Job Summary:
  • Provide hands-on experience, work direction, technical guidance, and supervision for work crews involved in the fabrication, welding, and repair of plant pressure vessels, piping, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Direct and control the work of 6-10 Welders, Pipefitters/Fabricators, and Field Metals Mechanics in projects involving fabrication of pipe spools and structural steel assemblies or repair of plant piping and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to safe welding procedures and company standards.
  • Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring for lower qualified craftsmen, maintaining records of training accomplishments.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex projects to determine repair requirements, nature of repair, and whether repairs will be conducted in the shop or field.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in fabrication, welding, and NDT fields.
  • Experience serving as the technical authority concerning all fabrication vessel maintenance, equipment installation and repair, and/or testing, inspection, and welding.
