Job Title: Academic Mentor

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Barnet

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Academic Mentor to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students within the Science department with their academic development, as well as their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
  • Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across science-related subjects
  • Support class teachers across different subjects and support students' development academically

Requirements:

  • Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
  • Aspiring Primary or Secondary Teacher
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond daily for the pupils
  • Confidence is key throughout these roles/School
  • Must be a team player
