About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Sustainability and Carbon team within the UK Environment and Health business unit. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in achieving their sustainability goals, with a focus on BREEAM Infrastructure and CEEQUAL projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects with confidence, managing client relationships, project budgets, and team resources across a portfolio of projects in the public and private sectors.
  • Work collaboratively with our engineering, building, transport, and other teams to support client projects.
  • Engage in wider sustainability projects, including sustainability services, whole life carbon assessments, LCA's, and carbon reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, sharing knowledge and expertise with junior staff.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with three to five years' experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of sustainability and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Certified BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL Assessor.
  • Wider understanding of sustainability, including whole life carbon assessments, LCAs, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Excellent client and team engagement and relationship building experience.
  • Proficient in preparing commercially effective proposals, tenders, and deliverables.
  • Effective and collaborative project management skills.
  • Experience in writing and reviewing reports, including contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Strategic Environmental Assessments.
