About the Role

As an Environmental Sustainability Consultant at SLR, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals. Your expertise in greenhouse gas calculations, reporting, and strategy development will be invaluable in supporting our clients in the environmental, energy, and sustainability consulting sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement greenhouse gas calculations and reporting in accordance with the GHG Protocol
Support clients in the preparation of submissions to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
Collaborate with clients to develop Net Zero Carbon strategies
Assist clients in the development of targets in accordance with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

About You

We are looking for a qualified professional with a degree in a relevant science or engineering-related subject, and a member of a relevant technical body, IEMA. You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate directly with our clients. Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, is also essential.

Whilst not essential, past experience working in the environmental, sustainability, or energy sector, and a full UK driving licence, would be advantageous.
