We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Approach Personnel Ltd, a reputable employment business specializing in temporary to permanent labour recruitment. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in developing detailed cost analyses for ground engineering and civils projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough site assessments to produce accurate cost projections for Piled Retaining Wall tenders, bids, and estimates.
- Collaborate with the pre-construction and bid team to ensure effective project management, timelines, and service quality.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to obtain realistic costing for materials and labour.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication throughout each contract.
- Previous experience in a ground engineering, ground investigation, or geotechnical role.
- Proven experience in an Estimating role.
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and desire to progress.
- Computer and software literacy.
- Full UK clean driving license.
- Competitive salary c.£40,000+ per annum depending on experience.
- Car allowance of £400 per month.
- 34 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
