Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs

Job Summary:
We are working with an 'Outstanding' 2 Form Entry Primary School in the Borough of Lambeth, seeking an Unqualified Teaching Assistant for SEN to support children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, SpLD, and other special educational needs in a primary school setting.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to students with special needs.
- Collaborate with the school's SENCO to ensure effective implementation of SEN policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students and the school.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
