Pertemps Network Group is seeking a highly skilled HR Assistant to join their team in the Scottish Borders.
About the Role:
Employee Relations:
- Provide administrative support for employee relations activities, including taking minutes and offering basic advice.
- Assist with investigations and support managers in the absence of the HR Advisor.
Administration Support:
- Contribute to the day-to-day administration of HR activities.
- Assist with the preparation and issuance of contracts and offer letters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases.
Miscellaneous:
- Record and monitor employee absences and sickness.
- Support with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Analyze HR processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with internal audits and provide HR reporting.
- Perform other HR-related duties as required.
About You:
- Previous HR experience is essential, with a strong understanding of employment legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Desirable: HR qualification or equivalent experience.
