Pertemps Network Group is seeking a highly skilled HR Assistant to join their team in the Scottish Borders.

About the Role:

Employee Relations:

  • Provide administrative support for employee relations activities, including taking minutes and offering basic advice.
  • Assist with investigations and support managers in the absence of the HR Advisor.

Administration Support:

  • Contribute to the day-to-day administration of HR activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and issuance of contracts and offer letters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases.

Miscellaneous:

  • Record and monitor employee absences and sickness.
  • Support with onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Analyze HR processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with internal audits and provide HR reporting.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as required.

About You:

  • Previous HR experience is essential, with a strong understanding of employment legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Desirable: HR qualification or equivalent experience.
