Job Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented individual with a strong drive for data-driven analysis to join our central grocery team. As part of this team, you will be responsible for developing and testing promotional strategies, providing data-driven insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize the value of data and analytics capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Promotions Expertise: Develop and test promotional strategies in collaboration with various teams to maximize profitability.
- Data-driven Insight: Provide analytical insights to support decision-making both internally and externally.
- Analytical Rigour: Structure and process data to identify opportunities and outliers, and create tools to enhance understanding of pricing and promotions.
- Influencing to Action: Present analytical findings to enable informed decision-making.
- Project Management: Build structured reporting processes to drive adoption of new features.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with different teams to maximize the value of data and analytics capabilities.
- Data Management: Design and build reports for key stakeholders within the organization.
Requirements
- Results-oriented with an eye for detail
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of the grocery industry is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG
- Experience with data visualization software
