Strategic Promotions Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Promotions Analyst to join our team at Deliveroo. As a Promotions Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through data-driven insights and strategic promotions.
Key Responsibilities- Promotions Expertise: Develop and test promotional strategies in collaboration with category, marketing, and commercial teams to maximize profitability and stay competitive.
- Data-Driven Insight: Provide analytical, data-driven insights to support decision-makers inside and outside Deliveroo, understanding underlying drivers of performance, and evaluating promotional tests.
- Analytical Rigour: Structure and process data to identify key opportunity areas and outliers, and visualize the analysis in a digestible manner, creating and launching tools and reports that further the understanding of pricing and promotions.
- Influencing to Action: Interpret and present analytical findings in a way that enables the business to make informed decisions and supports/influences new ways of thinking.
- Project Management and Execution: Build structured reporting and overall robust process around account management and partner success to drive adoption of new features.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize the value of our data and analytics capabilities, liaising with Leadership Teams and stakeholders in the wider business to define challenging and robust KPIs and targets for various projects within the Grocery organization.
- Design, Management, and Build: Of trusted data-related reports across key stakeholders within the Grocery organization.
- Results-oriented, eye for detail, data-driven, and structured.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
- SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- 3+ years of data analysis in an analytical, strategic, or commercial role.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of or experience in the grocery industry, particularly operations, a plus.
- Appetite to work in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.
- Experience in a retail, e-commerce, or FMCG business working in Pricing or Promotions.
- Experience with data visualization software such as Looker.
