Job Title: Senior Highway Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Civil Engineer to join our established infrastructure team. As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will play a key role in tackling a growing workload of highways projects, working on a mix of public highway and on-site projects with a focus on highway design and drainage design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on a variety of highway design and drainage design projects, ensuring high standards and timely delivery
  • Take instruction from senior team members while working independently or leading junior staff
  • Manage multiple projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and standards
  • Be involved in project proposals, ongoing project management, and deliver projects within budget
  • Attend client meetings and represent the company in a client-facing role
  • Actively contribute to improving the skills and knowledge of junior team members
Requirements:
  • To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in highway design and drainage design, with experience in managing multiple projects and leading junior staff
  • You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and technical skills
  • You will have a strong understanding of relevant guidelines and standards, with the ability to apply them in a practical context
