We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Practitioner Psychologist with leadership responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious organization, Outcomes First Group, that is committed to delivering high-quality education and special needs services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of clinicians to deliver assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Locality Lead and Head of Clinical Operations to develop and implement service strategies.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and support for pupils.
- Supervise and mentor junior clinicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
- Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, therapists, and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting pupils.
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address the complex needs of pupils.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Doctoral level degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, Educational).
- Registered with the HCPC and own professional body.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience of working with people who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners.
- Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively.
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting.
- Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults.
- Experience of lecturing/teaching/training.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required.
