Job Title: Venture Investor

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venture Investor to join our team at Triple Point. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for sourcing and leading new deals, as well as supporting the team in all key aspects of the investment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Find new investment opportunities and represent Triple Point in evaluating deals.
  • Lead and support new investments, contributing your opinion to weekly deal discussion meetings and writing investment papers for investment committee approval.
  • Understand market trends and contribute content, using your research to inform the team's view on markets and provide others with deeper insight into relevant areas.
  • Monitor existing and new investments, taking board positions representing Triple Point and supporting portfolio companies with your own and team network where appropriate.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' mid-level experience in a venture capital firm in a role where you analysed, pitched meaningfully and contributed to investment decision making.
  • Strong working grasp of Microsoft Excel, as it relates to the three financial statements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to quickly build rapport with people both internally and externally.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a passion for numbers and data.
