Infrastructure Delivery – Network Technician

At Amazon, we're building a global infrastructure that powers the world's most innovative companies. As a Data Centre Infrastructure Technician, you'll play a critical role in designing, planning, and delivering our data centre infrastructure. You'll work with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers to ensure the highest standards for safety and security while providing seamless access to our customers.

You'll collaborate with AWS Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast and smooth rollout of new designs and products. Your expertise in physical network cabling infrastructure will be essential in ensuring compliance with company and industry quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement network scaling and cabling projects according to priorities and dependencies.
  2. Manage and coordinate network cabling materials inventory.
  3. Shadow coaching work to cabling vendors to adhere to standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Experience in hyperscale data centre operations.
  3. Knowledge of IT best practice framework, project management methodologies, and ticketing systems.
  4. Understanding of major Command Line Protocols and common Networking Protocols.
