Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Level 3
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant - Level 3 to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial, and organisation processes within our busy school office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Provide organisation support to the school office, including managing schedules, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with financial processes, including budgeting, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven clerical/administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ICT and communication skills, including written and oral communication.
- Ability to deal effectively with work pressures and deadlines.
- Previous experience of a busy school office and/or experience of SIMS and FIS would be an advantage.
