We are currently seeking a talented Actuarial Reserving Specialist to join a prominent multinational reinsurer with a robust presence in the London Market. This role is integral to enhancing our London Market Reserving Team.


As an Actuarial Reserving Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide valuable actuarial insights that will inform various business functions and contribute to strategic planning.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of effective systems and operational procedures.
  • Support the forecasting of technical provisions, reserve margins, and uncertainties related to reserves.
  • Oversee, mentor, and develop junior Reserving analysts.
  • Manage multiple actuarial processes and ad-hoc projects concurrently.

Desired Experience:
  • Previous experience in UK Non-Life Reserving.
  • Nearly or newly qualified with the IFoA or an equivalent professional body.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to engage in discussions and presentations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
