We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, who possesses experience in managing a dynamic office environment focused on service delivery and client interaction. You will be responsible for maintaining both electronic and paper records, as well as processing various forms of documentation. Strong administrative skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and databases, are essential. Your excellent organizational and prioritization abilities will be key, as will your capacity to build relationships with a positive and adaptable attitude.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adequate donor appointments are scheduled daily to meet the necessary blood group collections for patient needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service as the primary point of contact for donors and visitors, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
- Become proficient in various computer applications, including established software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and specialized internal systems for which training will be provided.
You will offer comprehensive administrative support to the donor centre, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service that provides value for money.
Work Schedule
Opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions are available on a shift basis.
Candidate Profile
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in maintaining detailed records in both digital and physical formats, facilitating quick information retrieval.
- Familiarity with adhering to standard operating procedures and handling confidential information.
- Background in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a diverse and busy workload effectively.
- Solid understanding of information technology, particularly with a range of Microsoft applications or similar software.
Educational Background
- Minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 in Customer Service or equivalent experience.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
