Position Overview

Our technologies are designed to safeguard our clients' products against various challenges such as heat, light, corrosion, and chemicals, while enhancing aesthetics with vibrant finishes. We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our team, focusing on the Midlands and North West regions of England.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site technical assistance to both existing and prospective clients.
- Oversee line trials aimed at fostering new business opportunities.
- Perform immediate colour or application adjustments as required.
- Facilitate regional colour updates in collaboration with colour departments.
- Partner with Area Sales Managers to explore solution-based selling opportunities.
- Conduct audits of plants and processes, generating reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and resolve quality-related issues.
- Cultivate relationships with key accounts in the plastics sector, ensuring trust in Axalta's service quality.
- Collaborate with the EMEA technical team to enhance personal knowledge and expertise regarding Axalta's plastic coating products and their application.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient understanding of both solvent-based and waterborne paint technologies.
- Familiarity with application techniques, products, and technologies.
- Expertise in colour matching and understanding effect variations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Competent IT skills, including the ability to create presentations and analyses for both internal and external audiences.
