Student Support Coordinator – Wellbeing Hub
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (pro rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 30 hours per week, 39 weeks sessional
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 15:25, Friday 08:30 – 12:50

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Student Support Coordinator (SSC) to assist young individuals in their transition from primary education, foster social and communication abilities, and promote positive outcomes. Candidates with experience working with children and their families, or those with a background as Support for Learning Assistants, are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
This role will entail establishing trusting relationships with children and their families, which may include providing support within family environments. The SSC will be an integral part of the enhanced staffing team within the Wellbeing Hub, collaborating with a Curriculum Leader and a Support for Learning Assistant to help children with social and emotional challenges thrive in their mainstream educational settings.
All successful applicants will receive comprehensive training to equip them for their responsibilities.
