Job Title: Ultimate Survival Instructor

Join our team of passionate outdoor educators and become an integral part of our Ultimate Survival Camps team

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ultimate Survival Instructor to lead our outdoor activities and workshops for children aged 7-14. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, structured outdoor activities and ensuring the welfare and safety of our campers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging outdoor activities and workshops that promote participation, development, and enjoyment.
  • Lead groups of children through week-long courses, focusing on teamwork, skill development, and fun.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Participate in pre-camp training and contribute to the setup and pack down of the Ultimate Survival Camp.
  • Take a pastoral role as a group leader, supporting and caring for children throughout the week.
  • Supervise and engage with campers outside of activity times.
  • Live up to our company promise of 'Inspiring Children Every Day' and behave as a suitable role model.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic and energetic individual with a passion for working with children and supporting their development through outdoor activities.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Experience in outdoor education, particularly in bushcraft and working with children.
  • Excellent communication skills and verbal reasoning.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to dynamic situations.
  • Desirable: relevant degree or equivalent experience, NGB qualification in adventurous activities, and current outdoor or paediatric first aid qualification.
