Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Repairs Planner / Scheduler to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling repairs and maintenance requests for social housing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calls on system and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate operative diaries and ensure that all necessary information is up-to-date.
- General administration tasks, including document control and data entry.
- Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative, ensuring that all necessary information is provided.
- Monitor and track progress to completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Liaise with operatives, tenants, and clients to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date.
- Coordinate with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen to plan appointments, materials, and logistics.
- Organize external supply companies and ensure that all necessary materials are available.
- Ensure that all trades are ready and present on-site and that works are completed in-line with committed client completion dates.
- Work in a fast-paced demanding role with constant collaboration with key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and trades.
