Position Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and articulate Technical Support Specialist, eager to advance their career with a progressive IT support organization.

ROLE:
Office-based position providing 1st line technical assistance to users, primarily within the hospitality and leisure sectors.

SALARY:
Competitive salary range of £22,000 - £27,000, accompanied by benefits including a pension plan, a friendly office atmosphere, complimentary snacks and beverages, comprehensive training, and a potential for remote work after a probationary period.

WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM / 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Two half-days on Saturdays each month (remote work). Full day paid or half-day in lieu.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering prompt and effective technical support via email and phone.
  • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving IT-related issues.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Occasional site visits for specific projects.


Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 12-18 months of experience in a 1st line technical support role or a solid understanding of IT principles, possibly as a recent graduate with a keen interest in Computer Science, capable of providing high-quality customer service.


The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of Windows, Office 365 management, antivirus software, network administration, peripherals, imaging software, TCP/IP, and server/PC configuration.


We seek individuals who are technically adept, customer-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, able to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment.
