Job Title: Bilingual Program Manager

Mighty Writers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching kids to think and write with clarity. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual Program Manager to lead our bilingual programs in Philadelphia and Camden.

Job Summary

The Bilingual Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing bilingual programs for youth, including curriculum design, teaching, and project management. This role will also involve recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as providing project updates and reports to the Education Director.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement bilingual programs for youth, including curriculum design and teaching.
  2. Recruit and manage volunteers to support program delivery.
  3. Provide project updates and reports to the Education Director.
  4. Design and deliver a weekly resource email in Spanish to families, prioritizing bilingual offerings and providing health, education, and resource information.
  5. Develop and manage summer camps and workshops for Spanish-speaking youth.
  6. Design and deliver a daily afterschool Academy for elementary or middle school students.
  7. Design and deliver a weekly Teen Scholars program for high schoolers.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Arts Administration, Liberal Arts, History, English, Social Work, or Public Administration.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with youth in an educational setting.
  3. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  4. Strong organizational, time management, and computer skills.
  5. Proven management and leadership capabilities.
