Key Responsibilities:

As an Examinations Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Managing examination entries for external assessments to the relevant examination boards.
  • Disseminating information regarding all examinations to staff, students, and their guardians.
  • Collaborating with staff, parents, and students to address complaints and inquiries related to examinations.
  • Ensuring that examination materials are securely stored upon arrival in compliance with regulations.
  • Overseeing the daily operations of all internal and external examinations, including practical assessments, and coordinating with support staff to ensure smooth execution.
  • Briefing students on examination protocols and conduct, and creating guidelines for staff and students.
  • Collecting fees for examination entries from absentees and arranging for re-evaluations, reports, and inquiries regarding exam results from the examination board.
  • Being present on the day results are announced.
  • Collaborating with the Data Manager to analyze all examination results promptly and informing the Headteacher as soon as administratively feasible.
  • Working closely with the Data Manager to develop examination statistics that can be utilized for target setting, review, and enhancing achievement.
  • Attending relevant school meetings, including staff briefings.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to complete one).
  • Prior experience in an administrative capacity, preferably within an educational environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30.
