Job Overview:
Career Teachers is seeking an experienced Examinations Officer to join our team at a North Birmingham-based secondary school. As an Examinations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of examinations management, including day-to-day administration and organization of exams, overseeing the smooth running of mock and GCSE examinations, and coordinating and leading a team of invigilators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recent experience as an Examinations Officer/Manager within a school or college environment is essential.
- Sound knowledge of examination procedures and regulations.
- SIMs data experience.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
- Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offers FREE online Safeguarding training.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have recent experience as an Examinations Officer/Manager within a school or college environment. You will also need to have sound knowledge of examination procedures and regulations, as well as SIMs data experience. Excellent administrative skills are also essential, as well as the right to work in the UK and an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or a willingness to undertake a new one. Additionally, you will need to have up-to-date safeguarding training, which Career Teachers offers FREE online.
