About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Lakeside. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, tenants, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with visitors and tenants in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the centre, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the security manager to develop and implement security strategies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and report any suspicious activity to the security manager.
  • Provide support to third-party contractors and visitors, ensuring they are aware of and comply with centre procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and daily occurrence books.
Requirements
  • Front Line SIA licence.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • First aid qualification or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours and Salary

40 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off. Salary: £12.66 per hour.
