Job Overview

Macklin Care Homes is seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join their team at Milesian Manor Nursing Home. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Cook with meal preparation and serving, maintaining a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless meal service.
  • Support the Housekeeping and Laundry teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Good command of written and spoken English and a valid work permit.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with elderly residents.
  • Flexibility to work set hours, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of the organization.
  • Good general health and a medical certificate.
